Gareth Shelbourne

Director and Head Coach

Hi, I’m Gareth. I have been in the sports and fitness industry for over 15 years. The roles I’ve worked in include a sports coach, fitness instructor, personal trainer, general manager, sports massage therapist and S & C coach. My client base varies from elite sportsmen and women to juniors just starting out on their physical development. I specialise in youth long term athletic development.

Hi, I’m Tom. I have been coaching in elite sport for over a decade. I have worked with Olympic and International athletes as both a sports coach and a strength and conditioning coach. I have worked across a large range of sports with very different technical requirements from Diving and Gymnastics to Rugby and American football. I currently work as a strength and conditioning coach for Move4Sport with athletes of all levels from youth up to and including international and elite athletes.

Hi, I’m Jake, a Strength and Conditioning coach here at Move4Sport. I have been in the sports industry for over 10 years, working with athletes ranging from elite to amateur. I have been lucky enough to have coached all over the world and helped people achieve what they previously thought was not possible physically. I specialise in tennis but have worked in a huge array sports including athletics and team-based sports. I have a passion for working with the youth population but love the whole athlete development journey.

Having previously competed in tennis, volleyball and motor racing I understand the rigours of being an athlete and the ups and downs it can bring. I have a keen interest in helping people achieve their maximums.

Hi, I’m Anna, a strength and conditioning coach at Move4Sport. I have a background in dance and have been coaching S+C for pre-professional dancers and athletes for the past 5 years. As well as coaching for Move4Sport I am studying an MSc in Dance Science at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and work with dancers at the Royal Ballet School. I have a passion for long term athletic development and aim to help build proficient, resilient and educated young people no matter where their paths may lead.

Hi my names Callum, I am one of the s&c coaches at Move4Sport! I have fortunately been able to work with a large range of athletes across numerous environments some of these include working with International level athletes at the University of Portsmouth, professional football players at Portsmouth F.C. and more recently in professional cricket.

I am currently mainly working with youth athletes in Tennis and love the process of developing children and teens who are exceptional movers and that will hopefully carry these movement skills with them for the rest of their lives!

Hi, I’m Joshua, a Strength and Conditioning Coach and a current Master’s student in Sports Rehabilitation. Throughout my career in the sports and fitness industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes of all ages and abilities across a variety of sports, including rugby, basketball, tennis, athletics, and swimming.

My experience spans roles as a fitness coach, personal trainer, and strength and conditioning coach, where I’ve developed personalised training programs aimed at improving performance and achieving individual goals. Additionally, my ongoing studies in sports rehabilitation allow me to integrate injury prevention and recovery strategies into my approach, helping athletes stay healthy and perform at their best.

I’m passionate about supporting athletes in their long term development, and I’m continually expanding my knowledge to better serve those I work with, ensuring they reach their full potential.
